Quick Thought: Corbyn

I think the election of Jeremy Corbyn as the new leader of the Labour party signals the end for the likes of UKIP, at least in terms of the next few elections. Voters veering more to the ‘right’ than the ‘left’ of parliamentary politics will now vote Conservative in an attempt to keep the socialists out of office.

This scenario may also have the unintended side-effect of slightly increasing support for fringe parties–the BNP, etc.–but it is of little consequence as the establishment will never permit so-called nationalists to rise above a certain level (think four million votes and only a single MP).
